Wellness Exams
Our team at Berlin Animal Hospital believe wellness examinations and education are the most important components of your pet’s health care. It is only through complete and comprehensive examination and consultation we are able to determine your pet’s health care needs. As pets age, their needs change as well. Some of the most common discoveries during our examinations include periodontal dental disease, skin problems, heart disease, weight issues, and osteoarthritis.
We advocate an examination for every pet at least once yearly, but in some instances twice a year is more appropriate. Pets age faster than people. A dog or cat will age 7-9 years for every 1 year of our lives. At the time of the comprehensive veterinary wellness exam, our team will discuss your pet’s health status and recommend a plan tailored to your pet’s health care needs.
Berlin Animal Hospital will check the following in our Wellness Exams for Dogs and Cats:
- Cardiovascular Evaluation
